Sofukuji Temple
Dedicated in Dazaifu in 1241,it was relocated to the
present site in 1600,at the time of the construction
of Fukuoka Castle. In the large precinct,the Sanmon Gate,
formerly the main gate of Fukuoka Castle,and the Buddha
Hall,composed of the Hanamiyagura and Tsukimiyagura
towers,are the main attractions.
